It only starts at the front door
We live here. What we like doing ourselves, who we happily recommend, and what you get as our guest anyway – all of it, in one place.
What comes with your stay
Benefits you don't have to book separately – you get them because you're staying with us.
Worth your time
Sorted by season and interest. Not a complete list – more the kind of thing we'd tell you across the kitchen table.
Summer
From downhill trails to alpine pasture walks.
Epic Bike Park Leogang
Over 80 km of trails, from your first descent to the World Cup track.
The Epic Bike Park Leogang is among Europe's best: more than 80 km of trails, lines and downhill routes for beginners through to professionals. Newcomers have the Riders Playground, where the first corners can be practised without pressure.
In summer Leogang also hosts the UCI Mountain Bike World Cup – the world's best, right on the doorstep.
Hiking & the mountain
More than 400 km of paths – from gentle strolls to summit tours.
Leogang offers more than 400 km of hiking paths: easy-going walks, panoramic routes and demanding summit tours. The paths around the Asitz are especially popular.
For families the Asitz is worth it twice over: an open-air cinema, the TONspuren sound installations and several adventure parks sit right along the trails.
Families & events
An adventure mountain for kids, a jazz festival and alpine culture.
The Asitz scores with trails made for children plus play and sensory courses. Events fill the summer as well: the Saalfelden Jazz Festival, open-air concerts and the cultural projects around the Alm:FEST.
Winter
The Skicircus on your doorstep – and everything alongside it.
Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn
270 km of slopes and over 60 lifts, with the entry point minutes away.
Leogang is part of one of Austria's largest ski areas: 270 km of slopes and more than 60 lifts. The entry point at the Leogang mountain railways in Hütten is a few minutes away from us – by bus, which the guest card already covers.
Away from the slopes
Cross-country, tobogganing, snowshoes, ice skating and horse-drawn sleighs.
Not every winter day has to be a ski day. The region also has cross-country trails, toboggan runs, snowshoe hikes, ice skating and horse-drawn sleigh rides – often quieter, and with more room to look at the landscape.
Culture & history
Mining, Gothic art and a village with a long history.
Leogang Show Mine
Medieval mining you can walk into, with a guided tour.
The show mine gives a vivid impression of the medieval mining that shaped Leogang for centuries. The guided tour works well for children too. A cultural highlight alongside it: the St. Anna chapel and the Annafest.
Mining and Gothic Museum
Regional mining history and sacred art under one roof.
Opened in 1992, the museum shows the region's mining history alongside a remarkable collection of sacred art. A good plan for a rainy day.
Leogang Parish Church
A Gothic tower, renewed in Baroque style, consecrated in 1754.
The parish church was renewed in Baroque style in 1745 and consecrated in 1754; the tower still dates from the Gothic period. It stands in the middle of the village and is worth a short stop.
Food & drink
Where to eat well in the region.
Regional cuisine
Local producers, seasonal menus and 14 award-winning restaurants nearby.
The region takes local, seasonal cooking seriously. Many kitchens work with produce from nearby farms – look for the "echt.gsund.guad" initiative. For something more refined: 14 Gault-Millau-awarded restaurants are within reach.
